Point Roberts Shoreline Residence

A private shorefront residence in Point Roberts, Washington experienced significant damage to a protective rock bulkhead during winter storm high wave action which compromised the feature. Element was retained by the client to consult on risks of shoreline erosion and to support design and permitting of bulkhead repairs. An Element Geologist assessed the risk of erosion to the home foundation and provided correspondence addressing the need for repair of protective features. An Element Biologist performed reconnaissance, OHWM demarcation, and review of Priority Habitat Species (PHS) report to assess impacts of repairs to the shoreline environment. Final design review and construction is pending at this time. Element has also been retained to provide a Forage Fish Survey prior to construction activities.
